  I'm giving Annapurna Cuisine 3.5 stars overall because depending on who's cooking, the food merits 3, sometimes 4 stars.

The kitchen is occasionally off regarding taste when it comes to the curries.  One time I had the Thali (assortment of curries) on a weekday and everything tasted the same -- the curries were all slightly sweet and had the same creamy texture with the only difference coming from the color of the sauces.  It looks great in the picture that I took, but can't say that it tasted great. When I mentioned to the cashier that I didn’t enjoy my Thali, he said the buffet on the weekends is better.
  
  However, I'm a fan of the Dosas -- rice/lentil thin pancakes and the coconut cilantro chutney. I enjoyed these immensely when I went to Annapurna Cuisine for its Saturday Buffet.  That's what I'll stick to from now on and skip the Thali.
  
  It doesn't top my experiences at the vegetarian Udupi Palace up north in Berkeley and Little India in Artesia, but on the Westside, this is the place to visit for Southern Indian style vegetarian cuisine.
